Smash 'N' Sizzle

I recently visited this place and tried their burger — absolutely delicious! The patty was juicy, the bun was fresh, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the ingredients and preparation. The ambience is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to chill with friends or even enjoy a quiet solo meal. Definitely coming back to try more from the menu!

Didn’t know about this place until it came across on just eat suggestions so gave it a try. Tried paneer curry, roti and paratha. Curry was great. Roti / paratha were readymade but still good as a combo.

From the first bite, I knew I was in for something special. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy, the bacon added a savory crunch, and the fresh veggies brought it all together. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making the meal even more enjoyable. Can’t wait to return

Family visit to The Bridge Inn Chester and we all ate well! Good size portions, tasty and great value. Service friendly and atmosphere relaxed. We will return!

This has to be one of the most authentic curry places in Chester right now. It's up there with Nahedas, Guroma, Biryani mama etc. It tastes like genuine indian home cooking. But please note that means the food is spicier than you might expect, the Biryani has bony pieces of chicken (this is very authentic) and whole cardamom pods in the rice, which is how it would be in an indian home. The curry with bread options are really well balanced, usually it's extortionate to order more than one flat bread but here they sensibly give you 2 or 3. The Butter Chicken was a highlight, it was really well made and authentic. The Lamb Rogan Josh had tender lamb that was well rendered/cooked shoulder of lamb or some other fatty cut, it was very good, I wish there was more lamb. The Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani is really authentic, it has curry style bone in chicken pieces (that means mostly bone with a bit of meat), spicy and is surprisingly generous for the price. I'm so happy with this place and will be ordering regularly. My suggestion to the owners if they are reading this: The spice levels may put off some people, would suggest making some options less spicy like the butter chicken, and advertising the spice levels. I would suggest using bone in chicken legs and thighs only for the Biryani to make it more accessible to your clientele. Maybe have a better raita with cucumbers in it or some other salad/chutney options, most indian restaurants fail to do this properly. Thank you.

The quality of the food at this establishment is exceptional. You can tell that great care and attention goes into preparing this food and this cannot go unrecognised. The texture of the chicken burger is pert and crisp. As well as this, the chips are prepared in the perfect way and have the optimal level of crunch. Even though this food is truly excellent, it's also very reasonably priced. This is a thorough five star experience and I would urge anyone in the area to pay this place a visit.

We had a fantastic time at Smash 'N' Sizzle! The food is top-notch—crispy chicken burgers with just the right crunch, golden onion rings and cheesy loaded nachos that were bursting with flavor. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying. The place has a spacious seating area with a lovely canal view, making it perfect for relaxing meals. An added bonus is that it’s located inside a bar, which means you can enjoy your food with a great selection of drinks—ideal for outings with friends or family. Great food, great vibes and a perfect setting. Highly recommended!

Ordered food to take home with me and it was delicious. Had the Mac and cheese with chicken and it’s the best I’ve ever had, also got the curly fries and chicken bites in sweet chilli sauce. Cannot fault the food whatsoever it was all fantastic. The staff are all amazing and so lovely!
